Doula Support Services

Birth Doula

Whether this is your first baby or your 5th, it is important that you have a supportive team by your side providing you continual physical, emotional and educational support. As a Birth Doula, I work in hospital, at home or the Birth Center; Whether you’re with a Midwife or a Doctor. After a no-obligation meet and greet, then the signing of our contract I am available to answer questions, field concerns and provide resources. When labour begins I will be there from the moment that you need me -- until you are settled with your new baby(ies). You need not worry with your Devoted Doula as part of your birth team. I offer a birth story from me to the baby and first candid family photos. We will meet postpartum to discuss how things went and make sure you are settled with your new addition. My mission is to ensure that you receive the full Birth Doula Experience you deserve!

Natalie is fantastic! We hired her to be our Doula for our first baby and couldn’t have been happier. She is calm, grounded, knowledgeable, attentive, and has a good sense of humour. She was the one person in the room that I focused on (and listened to!) during labour as there were so many different staff in and out. My partner also really appreciated having her support so that he didn’t have to worry as much and could just enjoy the birth. Having Natalie there definitely helped us achieve our birthing goals. Her pre- and post- care were also very helpful and reassuring. We will definitely ask her to be our Doula again if we have another baby.

When I first met Natalie, I knew immediately that she would be the best fit for me. She was open, kind, very knowledgable and a calm presence. I appreciate all of the support she provided either in person, or via text, when I was feeling like I wouldn’t be able to handle another day of breastfeeding. I would say Natalie is one of the main reasons I kept persevering with my journey, despite the struggle I had, and I’m happy to report I’m still breastfeed almost 15 months later, and I love the bond my son and I have because of it. I cannot recommend her enough.
